Mary Martha Caldwell Dority

Mary Martha Caldwell, 74, of Weirton, died 3:00 PM, Thursday November 16, 2000, at the home of her friends, Samuel and Faye Taibi. She was born on June 6, 1926 in Buffalo Village, Hopewell Township, PA, the daughter of the late R. Vance and Hazel Fern Riggs Caldwell. She was also preceded in death by her husband Robert O. Kraft; one sister Hazel Ferne Caldwell and one nephew, Daniel Perry Caldwell. After her employment as an assistant chief operator with the telephone company in Mansfield Ohio, Mary Martha worked as a self employed bookkeeper and accountant. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Weirton, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School and volunteering her time with the Outreach Ministry. She also taught music and was a pianist with the Weirton Area Hymn Sings. She is survived by a loving family which includes two brothers, Robert V. Caldwell, Jr. and his wife Sarah Louise McDonald Caldwell; Judson W. Caldwell and his wife Betty Jane Wilson Caldwell; two nephews J. William Caldwell and Robert V. Caldwell III; two nieces, Mary Jane Caldwell and B. Joyce Caldwell; one great niece and two great nephews all residing in Washington, PA Calling hours are 7-9 PM Friday and 2-4 & 7-9 PM Saturday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV.
