Mary McCarl
July 26, 1930 ~ November 13, 2006
Mary McCarl, 76, of Weirton, passed away Monday, November 13, 2006. Born July 26, 1930 in Bobcaygeon, Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter of the late William and Hazel Irene Freeman Lyle. Mary was also preceded in death by her husband George E. McCarl, infant son William George McCarl and brothers Roy and Ross Lyle.
Mary was a homemaker and a member of Cove Presbyterian Church where she served as Deacon and church librarian. She was also a member of the Weirton Chapter 147 Order of the Eastern Star and National AARP.
Mary’s survivors include her daughters Judith A. Morris and her husband John and Donna M. Evans and her husband Bill all of Weirton; Aunt Doreen Apostle of Detroit, MI; grandchildren Jessica D. Morris and Katelyn A. Evans and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM Friday with Reverends Michael Lenno and Terry Stoops presiding. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Dear Judy, Donna and families I was so sorry to read about Mary in the obituaries on line. She and your father were wonderful people, and I enjoyed them so much when I worked at Cove Pres. Church. Just wanted you to know I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Barbara Conrad
Mary and George McCarl provide some of my fond memories of Weirton and Cove Church. Mary was one of my real buddies in the church. I especially loved her laugh that she always tried to stifle. She will be missed.
