Mary (Vuckovich) Yurjevic, 84 of Weirton died Wednesday August 29, 2001 at the Weirton Medical Center. Mary was born on February 20, 1917 in Midland, PA, the daughter of the late Milosh and Draginja Ivosevich Vuckovich. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel B. Yurjevic in 1952 and her brother Nick Vuckovich in 1987 and his wife, Ann, in 1999. Mrs Yurjevic was a homemaker. She was a member of the Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, KSS Vidovdan and the Serbian Mothers Club. Her son, Robert Yurjevic and his wife Georgianna of Chattanooga, TN; her three daughters, Dorothy Yurjevic of Weirton, Elaine Pietro and her husband Tony and Sharon Musulin and Jene Watkins all of Follansbee; her two sisters, Mildred and Louise Vuckovich both of Weirton, survive. Also surviving include her six grandchildren, Terri Ramey and her husband Rob of Venice, FL, Andrea Brown of Chattanooga, TN, Brian and Brianne Pietro , Michael and Bobby Musulin all of Follansbee, her three great grandchildren Chad and Brad Brackett of Chattanooga, TN and Lauren Ramey of Venice, FL, her nephew Michael Vuckovich of Dayton, OH. Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV. Pomen services will be held at 7:30 PM Friday in the funeral home. Additional visitation will be held Saturday from 10 AM until time of the funeral liturgy at 11 AM, Saturday at the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church 528 N. Fourth Street Steubenville, OH with the V. Rev. Father Rade Merick, officiating. Interment will follow at the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cemetery in Steubenville, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Resurrection Church Building Fund 528 N. Fourth Street Steubenville, OH 43952.
