  3. My friend Dave Ralston and I worked for Mike at the drugstore when we were young boys growing up. He treated us well and taught us more. He was a good man.

  4. To my Nona, Christopher, Malina and Allura, My heart hurts for you. And I am so sad to have lost someone so special to me. Nono had such a good heart. It means so much to me how he (and you) always always thought of me. He was my first pharmacy teacher and I will always remember and be thankful for the time and care he took with me. I love you very much and pray the God be with you and help you through this most difficult time.

  5. To my Nona, Christopher, Malina and Allura, I was saddened by the news of Nono’s passing. He was a good man,and I pray and hope that we can all be comforted by the following words. Bretheren, I do not want you to be ignorant about those who have fallen asleep, so that you will not grieve like those who have no hope. Because if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, so must we believe that God will bring with Jesus all those who have died believing in Him. For this is the Lord’s teaching, we tell you: We the living, who survive until the coming of the Lord, will in no way meet him ahead of those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven with the shout of command, the Archangel’s voice and trumpet of God. And those who have died believing in Christ will rise first. Then we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and remain with Him forever. – 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-17

  6. Dear Koumbara, Christopher, Malina, Allura, Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you all are very close in every thought and prayer. Words seem inadequate to express the sadness I feel about Koumbaro Mikes death. I wish I could be there with all of you at this sad time. May God comfort you and may you draw comfort from the time you enjoyed together. May his memory be eternal.

  11. Dear Nouna and Family, I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of Nouno Mike. I remember fondly the Christmas mornings when I’d find your present creatively packed into a container of some sort. That, along with the many more memories we shared, will be in my thoughts as we all cope with the passing of Nouno. May God be with you and may Nouno’s memory be eternal.
