Mildred Mantica

Mildred Mantica, 90, of Weirton died January 3, 2001 at the Weirton Medical Center.
She was born on July 24, 1910 in Dry Fork, Ohio the daughter of the late, Frank and Agnes Jursic Swartz. She was also preceeded in death by her husband Antonio in 1966, a son: Anthony F. in 1988, 3 brothers: James, Frank and Charles Swartz and 1 sister: Anna Swartz.
Mildred was co-owner of Mantica's Pharmacy of Weirton for 28 years and a retired clerk from G.C. Murphy with 19 years of service.
She is survived by a son: John R. of Weirton, two daughters: Mrs. Al (Concetta)''Toni'' Goykovich and Mrs. Kenneth (Linda M.) Boyd both of Weirton, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday January 4 from 7-9 P.M. and Friday January 5 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Funeral Mass with liturgy will be 10:30 Saturday January 6, 2001 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 229 California Avenue, Weirton with her nephew Fr. A. Donald Mantica officiating.
