Mildred Ticich
January 28, 1907 ~ February 3, 2004
Mildred Ticich, 97, of Weirton, WV died Tuesday February 3, 2004, at the Weirton Medical Center.
She was born on January 28, 1907, in Steubenville, OH, the daughter of the late Mile and Anna Kosonovich. Mildred was also preceded in death by her husband Bernard “Barney” Ticich on September 12, 1993; her son Bernard on January 28, 2004; three brothers, George, Nick, and Mike; four sisters, Dorothy, Violet, Mary, and Helen.
Mildred was a homemaker and a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son, Eugene Ticich of Bethesda, MD and her daughter, Mrs. Robert (Wilma) Watz of Milford, PA; five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 11:30 AM until time of service at 1:30 PM Thursday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton with Father Douglas Sutton presiding.
Entombment will follow at Saint Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 229 California Avenue, Weirton, WV 26062.
