Nell J. Lenhart, 102, of Weirton died Thursday, December 18, 2003, at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born on September 2, 1901, in Guffy, PA, the daughter of the late Fred and Dorinda Cervi Gabbie. Nell was also preceded in death by her three brothers, Adolfo, Edmund, and Camie Gabbie. Nell was a homemaker, and a housekeeper for the late Rev. Father James Altmeyer of Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church for 23 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Weirton. She is survived by her son, Alvin Lenhart and his wife Grace of Weirton; her daughter, Alma Wansack of Weirton; 7 grandchildren, Tim, Tom and Mark Wansack, Janice Petrovich, Lisa Powell, Susan Fijewski and Karen Reese; 9 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 PM Saturday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be conducted 1 PM on Monday December 22, 2003. Rev. Kevin L. Bowers will preside. Interment will follow at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, 3252 Main Street Weirton, WV 26062.
