Nick Rocknich, Jr.
February 3, 1937 ~ December 19, 2003
Nick Rocknich, Jr., 66, of Weirton died Friday December 19, 2003, at the Weirton Medical Center.
He was born on February 3, 1937 ,the son of the late Nicholas Rocknich, Sr., and Rose Munas Rocknich. Nick was also preceded in death by his brother, Charles.
He retired from Weirton Steel after 25 years of service in Track Repair. Nick served his country in the US Army. He was a member of the WSX 25 year club, VFW 2716, and the Serbian Men’s Club, where he was very involved with the Wednesday chicken blast.
Nick is survived by his wife Florence Barbara (Mo) Rocknich, whom he married on September 19, 1965; a son Nicholas Rocknich, III of Weirton; a daughter, Shawna Lee Rocknich of Barboursville, WV; a grandson , Nickolas Joel Rocknich of Weirton.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 PM Monday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, where services will be held 12 Noon Tuesday.
Rev. Stan Scott will preside.
Entombment will follow at the Saint Paul Cemetery Mausoleum, with military services conducted.

Moe, My deepest sympathies to you and your children.Never forget you are not alone and God will help you through this.I never knew Nick but he had to be special to be married to you for 38 years. Please know I am thinking of you. I lost my Bud 4 years ago this Christmas and the hurt is being replaced by wonderful memories and thankfullness to have been a part of his life.
