noah oxley iv
Noah John Oxley IV of Chandler, Indiana, passed away at his residence on Monday, November 15, 2021. He was 40 years old. Born on March 3, 1981, in Wheeling, he was one of four children of Noah John Oxley III and Tammy Grossenbach. Noah was a man of many talents. His love of cooking became well known to his family. Taking the lead from his father, Noah’s Italian Chicken became an instant family sensation. He also liked to dabble in coffee, respectfully known as the “Coffee Connoisseur.” It was known to many that Noah was a big-hearted individual. His sisters said, “he gave the best bear hugs.” He always enjoyed being around people, putting himself before others. People that knew him would say he earned the moniker of amazing big brother and son. In addition, Noah was a dreamer; he enjoyed investing his money in the stock market, portrait drawing, playing video games, fishing, and gazing at the stars. Noah was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Betty Kinney, paternal grandfather Rev. Noah John Oxley, Jr., and paternal great-grandfather Noah John Oxley, Sr. He will be remembered fondly with love by his mother, Tammy Grossenbach, his father Noah John Oxley III, brother Matthew (Rebecca) Lucas, sisters Kimberly, Jennifer, Courtney, and Jordan Oxley, paternal grandmother Betty Oxley, maternal Grandfather Ronnie Kinney, nephews Hunter, Lucas, and Walter, his niece Charlotte, and his girlfriend, Jessica Overall. Friends and family may visit the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home at 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Saturday, November 20, from 4-6 PM. Noah’s service will begin at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Noah's family.

Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My fondest memories of my brother would have to be whenever we’d go extended periods of time without seeing each other face to face. And when we finally did, he would give us the biggest hugs he possibly could. Just the way you could tell he was heppy to see us. The way his cologne smelt. Everything about it. I’ll never forget how he liked to joke around and the way he would laugh. He always tried to make everyone happy. He was also so proud to be an uncle to his nephews and niece. He would spend hours playing with them and talking to them. The memories of him playing with my son, Hunter, and that time they got to share together will be imprinted in my mind forever. He was so caring of everyone around him. He was loved so much and by so many. He truly will be missed so much.

  2. My heart goes out.. Noah !!! the sweetest ,selfless ,loyal .man ..heart of gold..the loss of u.. is a darkness to all who was blessed to meet u.. but ur heart, ur soul,is gonna light ur way rest easy❤

  3. We are sending our deepest sympathy to Noah’s mother, Tammy and all of his family. Our entire family is grieving along with Jessica & Sammy on this unexpected loss & missed opportunities for them. He had such a kind heart & funny sense of humor! Our family liked him from the very beginning. He “fit” right in with my boys & family. I hope you find comfort in the fact that he was loved by all of us & we considered him family. He will be missed by all. So sorry that we couldn’t make the trip … But please know that you all are in our thoughts & prayers!❤

  4. My heart goes out to the Oxley family and my sister Jessica for the loss of such a wonderful man that our family got the pleasure to meet and spend many family gatherings with. I did not know Noah very well but I do know that he was quick to a smile, he sincerely made an effort to get to know other people and he made my sister very happy. We were very lucky to have Noah as a part of our family. My prayers go out to each of you during this difficult time. I’m so very sorry for your loss.
