Norma Darlene Price, 78, of Weirton passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 in her residence. Born on May 25, 1934 in Daybrook, WV she was the daughter of the late William Sidney and Dessie Dell Shriver Thompson. She attended Clay-Battelle High School and worked for the Brooke County Committee on Aging as a site manager. Norma enjoyed bowling, gardening, bingo, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers Harold and Herbert Thompson and a sister Ruby Brock. She is survived by three sons Lloyd (Barb) Price of Mannington, WV, Leroy Price and Everett Price both of Weirton; three daughters Lucille Hurst of Weirton, Loreen Wallace of Maryville, TN and Lynn Mortimer of Weirton; six grandchildren Jennifer (Matt) Caleffie, Jessica (Nick) Hall, Jackie Wallace, Jimmy Wallace, Sierra Mortimer and Victoria Price; five great-grandchildren Alex, Eric and Nick DeLancey and Aurora and Annelyse Hall; one sister Aldene Efaw, dear friend Barbara McMillian and a faithful companion Ozzy. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St. Weirton where additional visitation will be held 10 am until time of services at 11 am on Thursday. Interment will be held in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.   5. Price Family, My sincere sympathy goes out to all of you. Darlene was one of best people I have ever met, this world lost a wonderful person. I will never forget all of the family parties and get togethers that her and Lucille have attended with my family and how she always made me laugh. I will miss our girls lunches with her. And am very greatful for having her as part of my family for as long as I can remember. My son will be lost not seeing grams with Aunt Lucille at all of our gatherings. I miss and love you but know that Heaven got an amazing Angel that will be watching over all of us. (I am sure she is telling a joke now and making all of our loved ones laugh as I am writing this.)
