Norma Jean Tokash, 71 of Weirton passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019 at her home. Born March 5, 1948 in Steubenville, OH, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary Barsnack Almasy. She was also preceded in death by her sister JoAnn Brancazio. Norma retired from United Bank where she worked as a loan officer for 34 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Church and AARP of Wellsburg. She enjoyed going on bus trips and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Joseph Tokash whom she married on November 9, 1968; brother William (Barbara) Almasy of Wellsburg and sister Laura McCullough of Follansbee; brother in law Paul (Donna) Tokash and sister in law Charlotte (George) Vargo, all of Weirton as well as several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Friday from 10:30 until 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Reverend Father Anthony G. Thurston will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
