Norma M. Powelson
March 21, 1927 ~ July 4, 2003
Norma M. Powelson 76, of Weirton passed away July 4, 2003 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born March 21, 1927 in Imperial, PA the daughter of the late Henry O. and Dora Cole. Her brother Robert Cole also preceded her.
Norma was a homemaker and a member of the Cove United Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Circle of the church.
She is survived by her husband Robert E. (Squire) Powelson of Weirton, son Bruce Powelson and his wife Patti, daughters Susan Mazzocco and her husband Warren, Pamela Jones and her husband Pete all of Weirton. She has three grandchildren, Thomas Jones and his wife Teresa and Schelley and Trishann Moss all of Weirton.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 6, 2003 from 1-3 and 7-9 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, where services will be held Monday, July 7, 2003, 12:30PM in the Funeral Home, with Rev. Terry Stoops officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens in Follansbee, WV.
Memorial contributions can be made to Cove United Presbyterian Church, 3404 Main St, Weirton, WV.
