Orval L. Renner, 81, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at the Brightwood Nursing Home in Follansbee, WV. Born January 22, 1925 in Weirton, he was the son of the late Clark O. and Ella Mae Hall Renner. Orval was also preceded in death by his brothers Everett, Harley, Lester Renner and Thomas Fitzgerald. With 40 years of service, he retired from Weirton Steel where he worked as an electrician in the boiler house. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Weirton and the WSX 25-Year Club. During World War II, he served in the US Navy on the U.S.S. Essex as a Machinist’s Mate second class. Orval’s survivor of his marriage to Virginia Wilcox Renner include his son, Clark A. Renner and his wife Linda of New Cumberland; and survivors of his marriage to Sarah Cork Renner include, son Craig O. Renner of Weirton and daughter Tina L. Kuna of Weirton; and 3 grandchildren Scott A. Renner and his wife Amanda, Stacey Renner and Jessica Kuna. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Friday.
