Patricia Lee Ivill, 83, of Weirton, passed away Sunday July 8, 2012 in the Weirton Geriatric Center. Born June 21, 1929 in Morgantown, WV, she was the daughter of the late David and Mary St. Clair Rohrbough. She was also preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Grimm Ivill in 1985. Mrs. Ivill retired from K-Mart and was a member of the Weirton Wesleyan Church, where she was superintendent of the church Sunday School. Patricia always enjoyed knitting, sewing and crocheting. She was an avid reader and loved baking for her family and friends. Patricia is survived by her sons David Ivill and his wife Cheryl of Colliers, WV and Thomas Ivill and his wife Betsy of Steubenville, OH; daughter Beverly A. Bowman and her husband Jeff of Aliquippa, PA; grandchildren Thomas Ivill, Jr. (Debbie), Chad, Angela, David S., and James Ivill and Jared Bowman and great-grandchildren Leah Pennington, Noah Kostelny and Ela Ivill. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be celebrated 1 PM Thursday. The Reverend Marvin Taylor will preside. Entombment will be in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to Hancock County Animal Shelter, P. O. Box 508, New Manchester, WV 26056.
