Patrick Joseph “Pat” Corsi, 76 of Weirton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at this home. Born November 27, 1942 in Steubenville, he was a son of the late Pasquale and Flora Minella Corsi. Pat was also preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Phillip Corsi. Pat retired as the Vice President of Wheeling National Bank. After retiring, from the banking industry, he continued his career as an executive insurance agent for Assure America selling life and health insurance to area businesses and residents. He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and a former member of Weirton Rotary. Pat’s life was centered around his family and spending time with his daughter, Lynette and his son, Jeff and his beloved grandchildren. He coached the Weirton Termites for many years, coaching several championship teams. He had a love for the New York Yankees and will always be remembered as a kind and happy man who enjoyed life, never missing his children’s and grandchildren’s events. He is survived by his wife Rose Marie Lupi Corsi, whom he married on August 14, 1965; son, Jeffrey C. (Mary) Corsi of Columbia, SC; daughter, Lynette (Curtis) Ekey of Weirton; grandchildren Jacob R. and Hannah Marie Corsi, Matthew W. Courtney and Jonathan and Ryan Ekey; brothers Victor Corsi of Steubenville and James (Joann) Corsi of Baltimore, MD and sisters , Mary Cowser, Edith Rice and Antoinette (Joe) Gibbons, all of Wintersville, OH and Margie (Ed) Zamana of Winterhaven, FL. Friends will be received on Sunday from 4-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 AM at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Rev. Father Babu Joseph Elamturuthil will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 140 Walnut Street, Weirton, WV 26062 or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 600 Waterfront Drive #210, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.   7. To the Entire Corsi Family, my sincerest sympathy goes out to you all. Your Parents Patsy and Flo Corsi were the salt of the earth parents and raised 10 wonderful children. I went to their communions, confirmations, and danced at many of their weddings. I loved them all, from Joe to Margie, they were the nicest kids.
