richard  antol, sr.
Richard S. Antol, Sr., 73, of Weirton died peacefully at his home on March 29, 2013. He was born February 24, 1940 in Steubenville, Ohio the son of the late Phillip and Helen Mroczkowski Antol. Richard graduated from Catholic Central High School and was employed as a crane operator at Weirton Steel Corporation before his retirement. Richard married his wife, Beatrice, and they settled in Weirton. They celebrated 49 years of marriage in September. He was a member of St. Peter's Church in Steubenville, Weirton Steel Corporation 25 Year Club and the Polish National Alliance Club #652. Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Beatrice Koltak Antol; his brother Phillip "Butch" Antol (Fran) of Wintersville; his daughter Rosemary Nassan (Mark) of Moon Township, PA; his son Rick Antol (Cindy) of Weirton and two lovely grandchildren Samantha and Hunter as well as many nieces and nephews, family and friends. Friends may call on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St. Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Peter's Church, 425 N. Fourth St. Steubenville with Rev. Fr. Jonas A. Shell officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton. In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution to St. Peter's Church 425 N.
