  2. I am very sorry to read of Ricky leaving us. Every time (sometimes 10 or more times a day) as I pass Ricky’s yard I would look to see if he was in the yard and waive to him and sometimes make a stupid come t on what he was working on. Ricky was always working in his yard and on his house. Rick was Marland Heights, a fine example of a great neighbor and a great friend to anyone who knew him . The Weirton Community Lost a great example of how we all should be

  3. My condolence goes to the the family at this darkest time. He was one of the kindest men I have ever met. He also, had a wonderful family …Rick loved Miya with all his heart… God take care of him till they all meet again prayers and blessings.

  4. So much love and prayers for your comfort and heartache for you all. He was so supportive to me after my husband and his buddy Bill Pryor died. He was that way with all. His family was his life and love. Bill told me of his life and adventures with him. Rick lived his life to the fullest. He shared his love of family with us and grinning through the stores he would share. Before Bill died Bill told me he wished we had more time to live life like Rick did. I am honored to have shared in some of Rick’s fun and to have witnessed his love of his family and his love of friends through sorrow and joy. May the memories sustain you all and they give you comfort. Know that love doesn’t die. Just until you all see him again. Thank you Rick for letting me know the other sides of Bill that I fell in love with. Thank you for being there for me and the happiness you brought to us all.

  9. What a difference one person can make…one person in a small town, a ripple effect like a rock skipping across a lake, seemingly impossible but when many stand in a long line to pay tribute , that one person made a difference in this life and made it better just knowing him…Ricky Allen. Knowing Ricky growing up on Maryland heights, keeping in touch on FB, wishing we were closer for the yard parties, knowing him as a great guy doesn’t get better than that. To his family, my dear friend Susan, Mary Kay, Jimmy, his daughters and to all ,my heart goes out to each of you. There will be a huge void. Thank God We knew him, thank God for him. Sending our love from California, Mary Kaye Charnie Druliner

  11. Ricky was a loyal childhood friend. I could always count on him. He stood out and made a difference. He truly was generous and compassionate. He came from good stock Mr Allan personified being a gentleman. Rick and I would shoot pool allot…especially when we had school cancellation due to snow…We had marathon pool games. I know we all wish we could hug him one more time. Let his spirit continue to live through us. God Love Him

  12. I didn’t know Rick, but we live across from the accident site, my husband and I also ride and I know he watches over us…I can see the beautiful memorial cross from my yard and think of him and his family often…my prayers to all…Kimberly S. (Stoneking) Harms

  13. Rick was one of my first friends in life . I will think of all the fun times we shared as we grew up on Weircrest . I think of him often like I do his brother Jim and his two sisters. Rest In Peace Rick – Some day we will laugh about those early Weircrest days and the fun we had.
