Richard M. Yurko, 74, of Weirton died Saturday July 21, 2007 at his home. He was born on September 24, 1932 in Steubenville, OH, the son of the late Michael R. and Sophia Przybysz Yurko. Richard retired from the Weirton Steel Corporation, where he worked on the cleaning lines. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, and the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Yurko; his son, Richard M. and Susan Yurko, Jr. of Bridgeport, WV; his two daughters, Judith and Jon Cook of Weirton, WV and Janice and Tom Hunter of Wintersville, OH; three grandchildren, Joclyn Hunter, Jenny and Eric Yurko. There will be no visitation.
