Robert Andrew Starkey

Robert Andrew Starkey, 71, of Weirton, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013 in the Brightwood Center, Follansbee, WV. Born January 7, 1942 in Steubenville, OH, he was a son of the late Robert Lionel and Dora Theresa Morelli Starkey. He was also preceded in death by his step-daughter Sherry Rebecca Jane Bailey. With 35 years of service, Mr. Starkey retired from Weirton Steel and was a member of the Cove Presbyterian Church, in Weirton. Robert is survived by his wife Linda Sue (Brown) Starkey of Weirton, whom he married June 18, 2009; daughters Susan Glover of Weirton and Renea (David) Hunts of Wintersville, OH; grandchildren Miracle, Serious, Promise and Ashley; great-grandson Austin; step-son Robert Eugene (Charlotte) Bailey, Jr. of Chester, WV; step-daughter Kimberly Ann Bailey (Tommy Orlando) of Steubenville and step-grandchildren Christopher, Kalib, Jacob, Seth, Gage, Thomas, Sydney and Madison. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9 AM until the 11 AM funeral service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Dr. Ed Rudiger will preside Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
