Robert “Bob” Gaskin, of Burgettstown, Pa, a self-employed truck driver died Saturday, November 28, 2020, after complications with his heart. He was 77 years old. Bob was born on August 26, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pa to Aubrey Stanley and Marian Carolyn Warchol Gaskin. Bob loved to work. He drove his truck over three million miles. He would be in his truck all week and on the weekends he would be working underneath his truck keeping it in tip-top shape. He loved trucks and cars and was always tinkering with them. On the weekends he enjoyed going to swap meets at the Canfield Fairgrounds. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, William “Bill” Gaskin. Bob is survived by his wife of 29 years, Rose Anna Alloway Gaskin, sons, Robert (Melissa) Mankey of Burgettstown, PA, and Ryan Gaskin of Midway, PA; daughter, Angela (Brian) Davidson of Hickory, PA; and his grandchildren, Harley and Dillon Davidson, Tristin, Dixiann, and Liam Gaskin. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco- Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be celebrated 11 AM on Wednesday.
