Rosalie Kathleen Marino of Weirton passed away peacefully at Trinity West in Steubenville following a lengthy illness on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. She was 75 years old. She was born in Steubenville on April 30, 1945, a daughter of Joseph and Tina Marino. Rosalie was a faithful member of Saint Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, a graduate from Weir High School, and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Rosalie had worked at Marino’s Café as a waitress for many years. In addition to her parents, Rosalie was preceded in death by her sisters, Josephine Orenzuk and Anne Marino, brothers Nathaniel “Sonny,” James, Anthony, Billy and Charles Marino. Left to cherish her memory with love and admiration are her sister Darlene (Tom) Sessi of Burgettstown, PA., Carolyn Malesky of Steubenville, and brother William Marino of New Cumberland, and several nieces and nephews. Rosalie’s request for cremation has been honored. Friends will be received Thursday, from 4 PM until the time of the 6 PM Liturgy of the Word service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Rev. Binu Sebastian will preside. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosalie’s name to Saint Paul’s Roman Catholic Church or Saint Paul’s School located at 140 Walnut Street, Weirton, WV., 26062.   4. Marino family: So sorry for your loss. When I worked at Weirton Steel I worked at the Marantz Bldg and Rosie would fix us her breakfast egg sandwiches that no one else could match! She was a hoot and I loved her dearly. (Cas Front’s niece)
