Rose A. Buelich 80 of Weirton passed unexpectedly, peacefully and quietly Sunday at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born May 16, 1924 in Weirton, WV, the daughter of the late Guiseppe and Rose Napoli Ballato. Her brothers, Ross and Frank Ballato and sisters, Mary Sweda and Sarah Warzynski also preceded her. Rose retired as a seamstress for Francis Draperies where she worked for many years. She was a homemaker, a member of St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Weirton, the Christian Mothers, where she was a past president, Catholic Daughters, and AARP. She is survived by her husband Joseph Buelich of Weirton; sons Joseph M. Buelich, Stephen Paul Buelich both of Weirton, and Daniel P. Buelich of Aurora, Colorado; grandchildren, Joseph M. Buelich of Las Vegas, Nevada and Nikki Ann Buelich of Aurora, Colorado; brother, Sam Ballato and his wife Norita of Weirton; and sisters, Virginia Ballato and Nancy Yakunich and her husband Louis all of Weirton. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, WV where a prayer service will be held at 3:00PM, and a KofC Rosary will be held at 7:00PM in the funeral home. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be Thursday, 10:00AM at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Weirton. Interment will follow at Paris Cemetery, Paris, PA.
