Rose F. Kopia, 91, of Weirton passed away March 21, 2009, at Serra Manor in Weirton. She was born January 27, 1918 in Kenilworth, WV, the daughter of the late Frank and Victoria Chawla Wiersbicki. Her husband Stanley L. Kopia, four brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Rose was a homemaker and a devout member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Weirton.
She is survived by her son Leonard Kopia and his wife Mary Ella of Waynesboro, VA; daughter Margaret Norbutt and her husband Bill of Canonsburg, PA; 5 grandchildren and 3 great granddaughters.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 24, 2009, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be Tuesday, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Mary Church, Weirton, WV.
Entombment will be at St. Paul Cemetery Mausoleum, Weirton.
