Rose Mary Clark, 90, of Weirton, WV, died Monday, April 2, 2018, after a brief illness. Born July 25, 1927, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was preceded in death by her parents, Carmen Muti, Assunta Scanga Muti and Mary Muti; sister, Helen Lomicka; brothers, Santo and Louis Muti; cousins, Betty Muto, Josephine Gall, Robert, Angelo and Pete Muto. Rose was a devoted and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She served as a role model of kindness and commitment of service to others. She was an active member of St. Joseph the Worker parish and former President of Christian Mothers. She volunteered for numerous community organizations over the years including Camp Fire Girls, was a Cub Scout Leader, a retired senior citizens volunteer (RSVP), a member for over 35 years with the Weirton Hospital Auxiliary and the women’s group at Paris Presbyterian Church crocheting mats for the homeless and needy. She worked for a period of time as a bookkeeper for New City Auto Sales and was a teacher’s aide at Broadview Elementary School. She enjoyed life to the fullest and still volunteered and prepared meals for family weekends until her passing. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years Warren M. Clark; son, Robert Clark and his wife Beth of Morgantown, WV; daughters, Brenda Clark and her husband Brian Gordon of Pittsburgh, PA and Dr. Barbara Clark of Sewickley, PA; grandchildren, Alec and Andrew Shannon and Thomas (Laura) Clark; sister, Matilda Strickland; brothers in law, Roy Lomicka and Jerry Clark; sister in law, Mary Lou Bollinger; cousins Fran Draper, Louse Olenick, Sam Muto and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday 4-6 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Church. Father Anthony G. Thurston will officiate. Interment will follow in Serenity Views Cemetery in New Martinsville, WV.
