Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Roberta, Steve, John, and all the Spensky family, I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. I can remember her walking up the path to Marland Hts pool when you kids were young and i was a life guard. She loved all you kids and you were the love of her life. What a wonderful person. I will never forget her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. Sincerely, Jerry Hamill

  2. Steve,Johnny & Families, Please accept my sincere sympathies on the passing of your Mother. Sincerely, Jimmy Musulin

  3. Dear Spensky Family, I was unable to make it to the funeral home and was upset about that. My mom (Bea Lisheski) was in the hospital at the time. I would have really enjoyed seeing everyone again. It’s been so long. I still remember all the times we would picnic and swim at Marland Heights Pool with our moms. Your mom was a wonderful, warm person; always a hard worker; and always willing to help. I’ll remember her also at Pleasant Valley Country Club when she worked there with Mom, Mary Bulboff, and Wanda Tomasovich. What a great group of women! May your love for your mom always remain in your heart, and may God continue to comfort you in your great loss. Love and friendship, Sandi (Lisheski) Gajtka P.S. Janet (Belle) — still remember our days in the Benefits Department of Weirton Steel. Hope all is well with your family and everyone’s.

  4. Dear Spensky Family, I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of the matriarch of your family. Ruth was an exceptional woman who truly never met a stranger. She touched the lives of all who new her and she is certain to rest in peace within the gates of heaven. My daughters shared with me the poignant details as she was leaving her residence for the hospital. That was so like her to be so strong. She will be missed by all and I hope you find comfort in that, along with the many wonderful memories you must have. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Gary Petrella
