Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. We have never known a more devoted Christian lady than Eileen. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for anyone. She touched our lives with her faith and I was privileged to have been related to her as my cousin. Her example of living was an inspiration to us all. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

  2. “Nene” or “Gran” was a wonderful person to all, who shared the joys of life with every person that she met. She touched countless lives with her powerful spirit and wisdom. May her life-long devotion to God gain her happiness beside her husband, “Pappy”, in heaven. She will always be remembered and greatly missed.

  3. I remember Mrs. Fetty as my substitute teacher, my minister’s wife and as the mother of Nancy who was a classmate and fellow band member in high school.

  4. Mom, as I have always called her, was not only my dear friend but she once was my mother-in-law whom I have always cherished. She is one fantastic lady who never complained and always willing to help others. She never forgot birthdays of those she held dear to her throughout the years. I know she is in a better place, where there is no more sorrow and playing the piano for the angels now. I will always keep her near my heart forever.

  5. MRS.FETTY, ONE GREAT PERSON, A FRIEND TO ALL SHE LOVE HER LORD, SHE ALSO TAUGHT ME HOW TO CROCHET, SHE WILL BE MISSED, BUT SHE AND REV.FETTY ARE HAVING A GREAT TIME . LOVE AND PRAYERS GERRY HARTSOUK

  7. I met Mrs. Fetty when I was a member of the Weirton Church. She had learned of me thru her sister in law Mioko (?) who worked at Serra Manor when my mother was there. Mrs. Fetty was a wonderful person, always had a smile and after a year of not seeing me, remembered me when I came back to visit. She will be missed by everyone. God Bless her family.

  8. Eileen Fetty loved her God more than anything, and she touched so many lives! She was a “real lady” and a mentor to all who knew her. She was my friend, and prayer partner. When I lost both my parents within a day, she and Jack became the parent figures we needed. They were “Pap” and “Gran” to our children and grandchildren. The lives they lived for God, and all those around them makes our goal of reaching Heaven more precious than ever before. Don & Betty Allen.

  9. Mama was just the best at everything she did … and she did everything with a heart toward pleasing the Lord. Of course, she did everything with excellence! She gave me “natural” life … and led me into “spiritual” life – – which is life indeed! I will be eternally grateful for her love and her godly example … and I will miss her tremendously. She was and is my best friend! But I will see her again. What a reunion!

  10. My Grandmother was many things to many people. A loving wife, a mother to so many, and a child of the King. She filled the void in many people’s lives with her love and caring. More than anything, she was a shining example to all those around her of how to live a Godly life. Despite all the challenges she faced, her faith never faltered. As we move forward with our lives, let’s remember the faithful life “Nanny” lived and the constant love she gave to those around her. Let’s follow her example. That is the best tribute we can give her. I love you Nan and I will see you soon!

  11. It is so hard to put into words exactly what Gran was to me. She was a grandmother, and friend, and someone who I could know was praying for me without even asking. She had a terrific laugh and the sweetest spirit about her at all times! My son and I went out to see her a couple of weeks before she passed away. It was a terrific visit. We surprised her with a chocolate shake and she lit up like a little kid saying, “I’ve been thinking about ice cream all day!” We laughed and enjoyed a terrific afternoon with her. I wouldn’t trade that moment for anything. No matter how cold it was when you left the house, she would stand at the door and wave until you were at the end of the driveway. I cannot wait to be greeted with that same smile and wave someday in heaven. We will always love you Gran and miss you tremendously! Tell Pap we said hi! How lucky we are to have 2 angels watching over us such as you and Pap! Skyler still prays for you both every night hoping you are having fun with O’malley (our dog who passed away 15 months ago.) You both made quite an impression on his young life. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! We Love You, Debbie (Allen) Murphy

  12. Gran I love and I miss you. Everytime I went out there she gave me a bag of candy from her and a quarter from Pap, because that’s what he use to do. Gran, could you tell me if there is a train up in heaven, because you know how much I love them. Bye Gran! Love, Skyler Murphy

  13. What a beautiful life to watch! I will strive to be a more Godly wife and mother after watching Gran live her life. Life’s ups and downs only seemed to make her sweeter and stronger. My last day spent with Gran is a great memory for me. When I got there, she had an entire meal at the table and it wasn’t even mealtime. She always seemed to have dessert stashed away in the freezer (my kinda girl!) We sat on the porch looking at the back yard reminiscing about the many cookouts we had back there. Pap and Gran stepped in and took over as our grandparents when we lost ours. They filled a such a void! I will always miss the phone calls to Gran to say “I’m here…you can stop praying now” everytime I got into Weirton. Gran, my heart aches when I think of life on this earth without you but I’ll see you on the other side! ~AmyJo~
