Ruth Yacos, 86, of Colliers, WV, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at her home. Born September 3, 1921 in Follansbee, WV, she was the daughter of the late John Adam and Lou Sippia Johnson Cline. Ruth was also preceded in death by her husband Mike Yacos on January 12, 1998, brothers Harold, Charles, Ernest, Watson and Neil Cline and sisters Nellie Snyder, Marie Slack and Mildred Craig. Ruth was a homemaker who loved playing bingo and working on puzzle books. Ruth is survived by her sons George Yacos and his wife Judy of Surprise, Arizona and Michael Yacos and his wife Judy of Toronto, OH; daughter Terry Lynn Melnyk and her husband Ken of Colliers; her companion Al Boniti of Weirton; sisters Ruby Loughhead of Weirton and Pauline McClelland of Burgettstown, PA; sister-in-law "Pete" Cline of Weirton; grandchildren Michelle Colberg and her husband Tony, Nicholas Yacos and his wife Keri, B.J. Yacos; Pete Melnyk and his wife Aqua, Brian Melnyk and his girlfriend Raelynn Yarhling; great-grandchildren Casey, Nicky and Haley Yacos and Lexus and Jazzlyn Melnyk. Friends will be received Friday 10AM until the 2PM funeral service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Colliers, WV.   3. I am so sorry to hear about Ruth passing on. She was a very nice lady and long time friend to my mom Ann Butler. I was so glad that she got to come to my mom’s brithday party because they had been friends for so very long. Friends like that you can’t replace. They shared many good times and bad. At least they had that one last good time together. It makes you cherish the good times. She will be missed.
