  4. Good neighbors are hide to find, but even harder to keep as a good friend after they move away from the neighborhood. Mr. Palmieri was one of those kinds of people and the McAtee family was lucky enough to have been considered his friends. My heart goes out to your whole family, Mrs. Palmieri, Toni, Tina and Rich. Mr. Palmieri will be remembered forever by me as my father’s “Godfather”, he was friend enough to stand up for dad when he converted to catholicism. I will continue to pray for all of you and your families. Perhaps Mr. Palmieri should have worked for State Farm……”Like a good neighbor…”. God Bless You. Ruthie

  5. Sal was fun loving, gregarious man and I will miss his, “June, your looking good” greeting. Have a peaceful journey home, Sal!

  6. God Bless Salvatore… May your grief be short and your happy, wonderful memories last a lifetime. Sorry I can’t be with you, but I’m with you in spirit. Blessings to you all.

  7. Dear Mrs. Palmieri and family: I wish to extend my deepest and most sincere sympathy on the loss of Sal. He was always a kind man to my father over the years as they enjoyed chatting whenever out and about town. You were wonderful people of faith as I have early remembrances of you at the 10:30 Mass at Sacred Heart of Mary years ago and then at Mass at St. Paul’s when I was there in the early 90’s. God has certainly taken Sal to Himself — take comfort in that. Yours sincerely, Stan Tuchalski

  8. Ann, I’m so deeply saddened by your loss. I have such good memories of you and Sal with my parents. What wonderful friends you all were! Sal was always so friendly and full of life.
