Sandra C. Hawken, 55, of Colliers, WV, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in the Brightwood Center, Follansbee, WV. Born October 4, 1955 in Canton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Alpheaus T. and Mary Lou Hickman Wyatt, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her husband William F. Hawken on May 3, 2010, whom she married December 9, 1972. Mrs. Hawken was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. Sandra is survived by her son William “Brent” Hawken and his wife Jessica of Ft. Campbell, KY; grandchildren Ceili, Brylie and Brent “Bubby”, Jr.; and brother Alpheaus T. Wyatt III of Colliers. Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be celebrated 5PM Saturday. The Reverend Larry E. Barkley will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 7020 AC Skinner Parkway, Suite 100, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
