Sevasti Contoveros

Sevasti Contoveros, formerly of Weirton, died Wednesday, December 19, 2001 at Brightwood Nursing Home, Follansbee, WV. She was born in Rhodes, Greece. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lazaros P. Contoveros on May 20, 1994, and three brothers. Sevasti retired from Avon where she worked as a sales representative for 15 years. She was a member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, Daughters of Penelope, Philoptochos Society, Pan Rhodian Society, All Saints Senior Citizens Club, and Campfire Girls Board of Directors. She is survived by two sons, John Contoveros and his wife Debbie of Dallas, Texas, and Paul Contoveros and his wife Karen of North Royalton, OH; five grandchildren, Paul Contoveros and his wife Lindsay, Julie Contoveros, Stacey Contoveros, all of North Royalton, OH, and Timothy and Christina Contoveros, both of Dallas; a brother Demetrios Geronymos of Pittsburgh; niece, Mrs. Dan (Gigi) Hardwick of Pittsburgh, PA; nephew, Chris Geronimos and his wife Becky of Pittsburgh, PA; and brothers and sisters in Greece. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 PM Friday at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Additional visitation will be Saturday from 12:30 PM until time of services at 1:30 PM at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Florence, PA.
