Shirley Ann Richards

Shirley Ann Richards, 83, of Weirton died Friday, February 14, 2020, at her son’s home. A daughter of the late Anthony and Virginia (Orlando) Marinacci, Shirley was born in Weirton, WV, on August 19, 1936. She was also preceded in death by her husband Mark E. Richards, Sr. Shirley worked over ten years as a tin flopper for Weirton Steel. After marriage, she lived her life as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be remembered most importantly for her love of family. She also enjoyed going out to eat, especially to Eat N Park, and her ability to look good wearing her favorite red lipstick. Shirley is survived by her son, Mark E. Richards, Jr. and his fiancé, Rebekah Danaher; daughters, Susan and John Gonzales, Judy Chechuck and her fiancé, Gary Higgins, and Tina and Matt Borneman; brothers, Anthony and Cynthia Marinacci and Markand Cathy Marinacci; sisters, Rose and Ken Weintraub, Linda and Bob West and Debbie and John Romanyak; eight grandchildren, Aaron, Erika, Haley, Adam, Issabella, Elias, Nathan, and Natalie; and a great-grandson, Hayden. Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV where funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday.
