Smiles Zarich, 95, formerly of Weirton, WV, and Youngstown, OH and most recently of Worthington, OH died March 5, 2018, at the Columbus Colony Elderly Care, in Westerville, OH. Born on September 7, 1922, in Weirton, WV, Smiles was a daughter of the late Joe and Milica Divich Wujnovich. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Stephan Zarich on January 3, 2011; a daughter, Melissa Zarich Rosato on March 26, 2014; her sister, Jenny Musulin on September 22, 2010. Early in her working career, Smiles was employed at the Phelp’s Can Company in Weirton, where they produced 350,000 cans daily obtained from the tinplate of the local Weirton Steel Company. Most of her adult life, Smiles was a homemaker. She was a member of the Serbian Eastern Orthodox Churchs, and most recently a member of the Saint Stevan of Dechani Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church in Columbus, OH, where she was a member of the Mother’s Club. She will be remembered with love by her daughter, Denese Zarich of Worthington, OH, sister, Mickey (George) Martich of Weirton, WV, grandsons, Stephan Zarich, and Alex Z. Rohrbaugh. Visitation will be Wednesday 12 PM until time of services 12:30 PM at Saint Stevan of Dechani Serbian Orthodox Church 1840 Cassady Avenue, Columbus, OH 43219 .   1. So many fond memories of a wonderful aunt! Trips to Youngstown to visit Uncle Steve and cousins Melissa and Denese were often the highlight of a weekend growing up. You were a beautiful person Aunt Smiles and will be missed by all who knew you. May your memory be eternal.
