Stella Mary Posti

Stella M. Posti, 91, of Weirton died Thursday November 13, 2008, at the Valley Hospice Palliative Care Center, in Steubenville, OH.
Stella was born on March 25, 1917, in Weirton, WV, a daughter of the late Jakob and Agnes Guszak Koper. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Steve Posti in 2002; her son Steve Posti in 1965, and her two brothers, Walter and Edward Koper.
Stella was a homemaker and talented seamstress. In her later years, Stella enjoyed spending time with her husband at her family farm in Hanover Township, PA.
Stella was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Weirton.
She is survived by her two sons, Alfred and Irene Posti of La Quinta, CA, and Edward Posti of Weirton, WV; her two sisters, Mildred Perlosky and Janet Czapla both of Weirton, WV; seven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 123PM on Sunday at the Greco- Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV.
Funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 10AM Monday at the Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Weirton.
The Reverend Father Kent Durig will preside.
Interment will follow at the Saint Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
