Theresa Arango

Theresa Arango, 77, of Weirton, passed away May 11, 2009 in Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, Ohio after a lengthy illness with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. She was born May 31, 1931 in Romania, a daughter of the late Joseph and Veronica Duruttya. Her husband, Jack Arango, granddaughter Brandi Tompos and sister Eushika also preceded her in death. Theresa was a homemaker and Catholic by faith. She is survived by her son Jack Arango, Jr. and his wife Catherine of Weirton; daughters Pamela Losier and her husband Michael of Georgetown, TX and Dione Tonetti and her husband Gino of North Attoboro, MA; grandchildren Dr. Ashley, Jack G. and Alexis Arango and Melissa Merico, Michael Losier, Gino Tonetti and his wife Deniz and Bianca and Alanna Tonetti; eight great-grandchildren; sister Priscilla Arango and her husband John of Bayonet Point, Florida and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 12 Noon, Thursday, May 14, 2009, at the Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 200 Preston Avenue, Weirton, WV. The Reverend Father Kent Durig will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
