Theresa Marie Pykosz

Theresa Marie Pykosz, 84, of Weirton, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012, with her family by her side. Born November 3, 1928, in Steubenville, OH, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Alice Abramowicz Cybulski. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Walter, Casimir, Leo, Bernard, and Vincent Cybulski; and sisters, Hattie Golec, Martha Charmoli, and Sophie Socha. Theresa was a homemaker, who enjoyed being a dog breeder and groomer for many years. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, and Altar and Rosary Society. She was also an active member of the church choir, and an active member and past treasurer of the PNA Lodge. Theresa is survived by her husband, of 65 years, Edward Joseph Pykosz of Weirton; two sons, Richard Pykosz and his wife Deborah of Weirton and Joseph Pykosz and his wife Elizabeth of Hollywood, MD; two daughters, Christine Kalata and her husband Thomas and Cindy Fedoush and her husband Paul all of Weirton; four grandsons, Jeremy Pykosh, Eddie, Michael and Joey Kalata: two granddaughters, Stephanie Kalata and Angela Pykosz and a great grandson, Tommy Kalata; a brother, Frank Cybulski; and a sister, Helen Bernert both of Steubenville. Friends will be received Monday from 4 to 8 PM, at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10AM Tuesday at Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church with Reverend Father Manuel Gelido officiating.
