Theresa Marie Skiles, 91, of Weirton, a loving mother and grandmother passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at the Weirton Geriatric Center. Theresa was born on December 1, 1928, in Weirton, WV, to John and Theresa Vucinovic. She was a lifelong resident of Weirton, WV, graduating from Weir High School in 1947. After high school, she worked at Marlinn’s Shoe Store before her marriage to William H. Skiles on November 5, 1949. After she was married, Theresa cared for her home and her two children, Her husband worked as an electrical foreman at Weirton Steel. Tra as she was known to friends and family enjoyed attending Shriner and Tin Lizzy events with her husband. She also loved camping at Big Bear and shopping at area shopping malls. She was a member of the Cove Presbyterian Church, Star of the Valley Rebekah Lodge, and the Order of the Eastern Star 147. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Skiles on January 30, 2015, her brother John Vucinovic; and most recently her beloved dog, Harley. Tra will be remembered with love by her daughter, Debra Lawton (Donn); her son, William “Bill” Skiles (Ann); her grandchildren, Errin Basil (Pete), Lauren Lawton, Meggan Jimboy (Joe), Tony Easter (Kim), Reneta Easter; Great-grandchildren, Brayden, Adelynn, Izzabeth, and Zana Lawton, Jaxson Basil, Jaylnne and Jordyn Jimboy, Raquel and Vivian Ralston, Ryan Sophie and Anthony Easter; and her niece and nephew, Brent and DeAnn. Visitation will be Thursday 1:00 PM until the time of funeral services at 3:00 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Garden.
