Theresa Marie Wagner

Theresa Marie Wagner, 84, of Weirton, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in the Weirton Medical Center. She was born June 15, 1935, in Weirton, a daughter of the late Alex and Julia Bien Kaplun. She was also preceded in death by her husband William Warren Wagner, son James A. Wagner, sister Jeanette Kaplun and brothers John and Robert Kaplun. With more than 30 years of service, Theresa retired from Weirton Medical Center. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and Holiday Lanes Bowling League. Theresa loved camping with her family at Senacaville, Ohio. She enjoyed taking care of her gardens, bowling, golfing and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by sons William J. Wagner and his wife Sheila Schrockman Wagner and David A. Wagner and his wife Lorie Valero Wagner all of Colliers and Steven A. Wagner and his wife Mary Utt Wagner of Weirton; daughter Paula Wagner-Knight and her husband Christopher of Mingo Junction, OH; grandchildren Morgan C. Wagner, Cole W. Wagner, and Nina N. Knight; great-granddaughter Everlee Lynne Wagner; and sisters Carolyn (Kaplun) Baker of Weirton, Stella (Kaplun) Blanchard of Senecaville, OH and Irene (Kaplun) Mesler of Chester, WV. Friends will be received Saturday from 11 am until the noon Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. The Reverend Father Babu Joseph Elamturuthil will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery. Arrangements were provided to the family by Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV.
