Timothy T. Varner, 54, of Weirton, died Saturday, February 5, 2005 in Columbus, OH. He was born April 20, 1950 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Ted T. and Patricia A. (Walsh) Varner. Tim was a graduate of the Weir High School Class of 1968, West Liberty State College, and Wheeling Jesuit University. He was a Cost Analyst for Weirton Steel Corporation and a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and the Weirton Area Water Board. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn (Marino) Varner; two daughters, Shannon Nicole Varner and Kaitlin Allyce Varner, all of Weirton; his sister, Margaret “Peg” Varner of Sarasota, FL; nephews and nieces, Tricia McCormick and Douglas Hutson, both of Sarasota, FL, Allie Bones of Phoenix, Arizona, and John and Cathy Slowikowski, both of Weirton; great nephews, Phillip and Parker McCormick, both of Sarasota, FL; and father-in-law and mother-in law, Sonny and MaryAnn Marino of Weirton. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Greco-Hertnick Funeral, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton. Entombment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
