Tony C. Orecchio
July 21, 1934 ~ October 21, 2000
Anthony C.''Tony'' Orecchio, 66, passed away at his home on Saturday afternoon.
He was born on July 21, 1934 in Weirton. He was the son of the late Michael J. and Antonietta Perrino Orecchio.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Frank Orecchio.
He is survived by,his wife of 33 years, Mary Ostroski Orecchio, who he married on May 20, 1967.One son Anthony M. and his wife Lisa and their child Nathan A.;two daughters, Mrs. Mark (Lisa Marie) Hulburd and Michelle Renee Orecchio; four sisters Mrs. Frank (Pauline) Majoris, Mrs. Tom (Rose) Barbara, Mary Fulton and Angela Cantini
Tony served his country as a PFC in the US Army. He retired from the Weirton Steel with 29 years as a supervisor of order entry. At Saint Paul Grade School, he taught Science and Math for 13 years as well as coached Basketball for 11 of those years. He was a member of Saint Paul Church.
Calling hours are Monday, October 23, 2000 from 7-9 PM and Tuesday October 24, 2000 from 2-4 &-9 PM. A prayer service will be held at 3:30 PM on Tuesday.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM at Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church Weirton
Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
The family asks that the memorial contributions be made to the Teramana Cancer Center or the weirton Medical Center 9th Floor Oncology Department.

Dear Tony You do not know me, but I came from the South and met your daughter Michelle. I think we are at home together. Thank a lot to gave her your southern part too.
A Great man and a fine teacher whom I had the luck of getting in grade school in the 3rd and the 5th grades. Tony always liked young people and gave me many fond memories.
I only have the fondest memories of Mr. Orecchio. I won’t forget his lively personality and the way he always called me “Runkel”. Please accept my deepest and sincerest sympathies, especially my friends Lisa and Mark. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
