Veronica Lynn Dent

Veronica “Valerie” Hornak Dent, 63, of Steubenville, formerly of Weirton, passed away Monday, December 2, 2019 at Trinity West, Steubenville, OH. Born April 12, 1956 in Steubenville, she was a daughter of Sylvia H. (Hall) Hornak and the late James F. Horner. She was also preceded in death by a brother Raymond Horner and half-sister Michelle Folio. In addition to her mother, Valerie is survived by her son Shawn (Shirley) Moyers; grandson Vincent; daughter Gretchen (Chris) Seigfield; six grandchildren; brother James (Debbie) Horner Jr., of Wellsburg, WV; half-brother Robert (Elizabeth) Horner of Youngwood, PA; half-sister Barbara Tolley of Alexandria, VA; brother-in-law Mark Folio; nephews James and Adam; nieces Kelley, Katherine, Mindy and Samantha and the love of her life Bubby Man, her dog. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 1:00 pm until the time of funeral services at 3:00 pm at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton. Private interment will be at St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity in memory of Valerie.
