victor sciarrino
Victor Ray Sciarrino, 82, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2022, at the Weirton Medical Center. He was 82 years old. He was born in Weirton on February 3, 1939, a son to the late Michael and Francis Castilla Sciarrino. Victor served in the United States Marine Corps and thereafter became a barber and entertained his clients for many years with his playful sense of humor. He spent his free time gardening or doing home projects, but his favorite past-time was to sing, dance, and read the newspaper with the light of his life, his son Vito. Victor was a family-loving man and never met a stranger, often inviting anyone into his home for a meal prepared by “the best cook in the world,” his attentive wife “Gigi.” He was a proud father and grandfather and adorned any space he could find with photos of their faces, smiling or pouting, he loved every single print. Victor will be missed by many and will be remembered and celebrated by his family with food, music, and storytelling to keep his spirit alive. In addition to his parents, Victor was preceded in death by sister Jesse Marzullo, brother Lenny Cozzo and sister Lucille Groves. Victor is survived by his wife of 48 years, Gloria (Lynch)Sciarrino whom he married on April 26, 1973, daughters Neely Snow and spouse Marc, Abrie Miller and spouse Daniel, son Vito Ray Sciarrino, granddaughters Talia Snow and Annika Snow, sister Pauline Andreozzi and niece Vickie Skidmore. A private memorial service will be held at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home. https://everloved.com/life-of/victor-sciarrino/ Share tributes with Victor’s family at www.grecohertnick.com
