Vincenzo Del Bene, 85, of Weirton, passed away, Friday, April 4, 2008, at the Valley Hospice Palliative Care Unit, Steubenville, Ohio. Mr. Del Bene was born February 14, 1923 in Palena, Italy, to the late John Del Bene and Anna (Travaglini) Del Bene. He is also preceded in death by his brother and two sisters. Vincenzo was married to the former Flora (Di Medio) Del Bene of Weirton, who survives him. Mr. Del Bene was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Weirton and was retired from the Machine Shop of Starvaggi Industries. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three daughters: Anna (Daniel) Kosareo of Lyndhurst, Ohio; Angela (Alex) Ariemiea of Richmond, Ohio; Rita Olsen of Steubenville, Ohio; and 4 grandchildren: Lisa (Brandon) Chavel, Nicholas and Michael Kosareo and Alexis Ariemiea. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, West Virginia.
