Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Bud & Deya: Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families during this difficult time. Your mom was always so nice to all the kids growing up in the “old neighborhood.”

  2. Deya, You have my deepest sympathy. I know what it is to lose a parent. It is as if you have a hole in your heart. I remember your Mother as such a kind and gracious lady and have such wonderful memories of her. I feel very lucky to have known her during my years at Madonna.

  3. The family of Virginia Gelini, Accept my condolences on the death of your wife, sister, mother, grand mother and great-grand mother. We were truly blessed to have Virginia as one of our parishioners here in St. Joseph. She lived and practiced her faith devoutly. Our prayer is that God would grant her eternal rest and console us she has left behind. May we be consoled that she has gone to a better place where she will intercede for us before God.

  4. Deya, I was saddened to hear of your mother’s passing and hope you will take comfort in knowing that she was so well loved. I remember fondly Mrs. Gelini’s kind influence on us all when we were students at Madonna. Sincerely, Tommi (Dworzecki) Himmel

  5. Deya, Bud, and family, my deepest prayers for you and yours during this time of lost. I feel the emptiness in your hearts. Your mother was like a mother to me. She and your father always welcome me into their home. I’ve always loved your parents as my own. I always turn to the Psalms during these times. The first page I turned to was Psalm 33: “The Lord fills the earth with His love”. “By his word the heavens were made, by the breath of his mouth all the stars”, “Our soul is waiting for the Lord. The Lord is our help and our shield. May your love be upon us”. This Psalm is so much your mom. By the smile of the Lord, your mom was created. Always with love,

  6. Howard, and Don Donell, Sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Sincerely, Jerry and Carl Hamill

  8. Gary has lots of great memories of the old days.. he says that Aunt Virginia made the best coconut cream pies.. just for him! That was a special thing. Moms gave us all sorts of wonderful memories. We are truly lucky, having such great moms and dads! Despite the distance, it’s been a good thing, being able to keep the link between Weirton and California all these years. We’ll keep an eye on your dad. Love, Janice and Gary

  9. Deya, I remember so fondly going to your house for study-groups. It was a haven for me. Your mom kept us on track while feeding us so well. She introduced me to the best Italian foods. I’m sorry I can’t be there with you at this time.
