Walter Wayne Walters, 71, of Weirton, WV, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in the Valley Haven Geriatric Center, Wellsburg, WV. He was born June 6, 1947 in Waynesburg, PA, a son of the late Lewis and Nellie Loar Walters. He was also preceded in death by his brother Clarence Walters. Walter was the former Operations Manager for Enstone, Inc. and was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Army. He was a member of the Hookstown American Legion. He enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. In his leisure time, his hobbies were drag racing and classic cars. Walter was proud of his grandchildren and their many accomplishments and did not miss watching his grandkids sporting events. He is survived by his wife Paula A. Kuhn Walters; daughters Kelli Keyes of Weirton and Mindi (Chipper) Mack of Centerville, PA; brothers Ernest (Mildred) Walters of Fredericktown, PA and Mark Walters of Clarksville, PA; sister Nancy Treece of Rices Landing, PA; grandchildren Dylan Keyes, Dustin Keyes, Tyler Mack and Alexis Mack and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be celebrated 10AM Friday, followed by Military Honors conducted by the United States Army and American Legion Honor Guards.
