Wanda Jean "Betty" Six

Wanda Jean “Betty” Six, 87, of Weirton passed away Wednesday June 12, 2019 at Forbes Hospital, Monroeville, PA. Born September 15, 1931 in Coburn, WV, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Alta Gump. She was also preceded in death by her ex-husband John W. Six; daughter Meta Grimes; brothers Charlie, Ray, Billy, Bobby and Gerald Gump and sisters Louise Riggs, Roberta Long, Imogene Coloprete, Laura Price, Mary Yoho and Madaline Hayes.
Betty enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son John Mikel Six of Weirton; grandchildren Donald (Genie) Grimes and Michelle (Howard) Birden; great grandchildren Christopher, Matthew, Eric, Dustin and Erica; brother John Gump of Coburn, WV and sisters Shirley Davis of Thomasville, NC and Katherine Snider of Mannington, WV.
Friends will be received on Friday from 5-7PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12 PM. Reverend Dr. Ed Rudiger will officiate.
Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathies. My heart goes out to the family. Death is something we will never get use to. In fact, God’s Word refers to death as an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26). Very soon our loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah God, will remove death once and for all and give us the opportunity to see our loved ones again here on the earth.
