Wilber Dale Clarke

Wilber Dale Clarke, 79 of Weirton died Thursday September 6, 2001 at the Weirton Medical Center.
He was born on September 23, 1921 in Steubenville, OH, the son of the late Vernon A. Clark and Mary V. Griffith Clark.
He was also preceded in death by his first wife Maybeth R. Henry Clarke on June 24, 1999, his three brothers Vernon A., Paul and Wayne Clark and a sister, Helen Lantz.
Dale was an Army veteran of World War II, and a retired roll grinder in the Weirton Steel Tin Mill where he had 38 years of service. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene the 25-year club of Weirton Steel, VFW 2716 and the American Legion Post 10.
His wife Stella Krzys Clarke, whom he married on March 21, 1975; his son, Jim Clarke and his wife Pam
Of Weirton; his three daughters, Mrs. Mike (Bridget) Pennington of Fort Worth, TX, Mrs. George (Faith) Nichols and Melody Clark both of Weirton and a brother Ronald Clark of Timmonsville, SC, 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, survive.
Visitation will be 7-9 PM Saturday and 1-3 & 7-9 PM Sunday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, where services will be held at 11AM Monday.
Reverend Dana Snodgrass will officiate.
Interment in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, with military graveside services conducted by the VFW 2716, American Legion Post 10 and the Tri State Marine Corp.
