William Mark Jenkins

William Mark Jenkins, originally from Weirton, passed away at the Medical University of South Carolina on Thursday, February 4, 2021; he was 55 years old. He was born October 19, 1965, in Weirton, WV.; he was preceded in death by his parents, James and Stella Dean Jenkins. William was employed at the Charleston Harbor Resort as a Facilities Manager. He was a member of the Weir High School class of 1983 and enjoyed working on his guns, especially his rifles. He was a hard worker, A Jack of all Trades, Mr. Fixit all rolled into one! William was a man of his word; if he told you, he would do something, considerate it done. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Connie Summers Jenkins, son, Shane Jenkins of Charleston, South Carolina daughter Chelsey Jenkins of Weirton, brothers, James Edward (Trish) Jenkins and Walter Dean (Jill), Jenkins, both from Weirton, sister, Holly Janeshek of Weirton and granddaughter, Stella Marie Jenkins of Weirton and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday, February 11, 2021, from 1 pm -until the time of the 3 pm service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV., The Reverend Larry Barkley to officiate.
