Wonna Belle Papandrea, 84, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, March 04, 2008 at the Weirton Geriatric Center. Born December 14, 1923 on the Big Moses Farm in Tyler County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late David and Claudia McIntyre Spencer. Wonna was preceded in death by her son Greg in May of 1995, brothers Dennis, Lemley "Dick", David "Jiggs" and Charles Spencer and sister DeEtta Underwood. Wonna worked in the Weirton Steel Tin Mill and operated a children's day care in her home and cared for the elderly in their homes. She was Lutheran by faith. She is survived by her sons David Rickey Spencer and his wife Linda of Ellicott City, MD and Terry J. Papandrea and Pam of Big Moses, WV; daughter Denise Folden and her husband Randall of Follansbee, WV; twin sister Monna Yoklic of Tucscon, AZ; granddaughter Jessica Spencer and grandson Jason Spencer. Friends will be received Friday, March 7, 2008, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 AM Saturday with Reverend Father Vincent Huber officiating. Interment will be in Beechwood Cemetery, Tyler County, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice, 10686 State Route 150, Rayland, OH 43943 or Weirton Area Ambulance & Rescue Squad, 1305 Pennsylvania Avenue, Weirton, WV 26062.
