Yvonne Rose (Takach) Williamson, 76, of Weirton, a dearly loved wife, mother, sister and grandmother, passed away at Weirton Medical Center on January 10, 2021. She was stricken with Alzheimer’s and COVID-19. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Looman and her grandson Garrett Williamson. Yvonne was born on June 23, 1944 and graduated from Mingo High School in 1962. She attended the Weirton Heights Church of Christ. Yvonne spent her youth raising three sons who will never forget her devotion and love. Later in life she loved few things more than spending time with her grandchildren and holding her little Chihuahuas. Loved and known as GaGa to her grandchildren, she taught them how to make crafts, paint pumpkins or just have fun playing their favorite game. Yvonne also loved arts and crafts and was a self-taught artist who learned to paint beautiful wall murals and make custom crafts. Yvonne will be missed by her husband, Ron Williamson, her sons, Mark, Rod (Carol) and Christopher (Brandy) Williamson; her brother, Bobby Takach; and her five grandchildren, Cole, Ryleigh, Ali and Parker Williamson. Deepest Sympathy to her family, Yvonne was such a lady, she and I worked together at Kmart in the jewelry department for years, I was so saddened to know she had Alzheimer’s, she did everything right in life , such a sweet person who attended church and took loving care of her family, I had thought of her often and prayed for her as my mom also had Alzheimer’s and passed at age 76 , she is now at peace , love and prayers Christine Wade
