Zita D. Stickles

Zita D. Stickles, 68, of Weirton, WV, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Weirton Medical Center.
Born March 1, 1948 in Steubenville, she was a daughter of the late Ira and Dorothy (Bryan) Trosch. She is also preceded in death by her brother Gene of Alabama and sister Judy Stone and brother in law Tom of Indiana.
Prior to retirement, Zita worked at The Herald Star newspaper and J.J. Guida/Airport Realty. She was an avid NASCAR, Steeler and Alabama Band fan. She enjoyed her "day trips" with Sherman and their yearly vacations to Myrtle and Virginia Beach.
Zita is survived by her husband Sherman of Weirton, daughters Stacy Dye of FL, Jessica Stickles of Weirton; sons Christopher Stickles of TX and Derrick Stickles of New Cumberland; son in law Wayne Zapotoczny; grandchildren Chelsie, Rachel, Dakota, Zachary, Isaac and Landon.
Friends will be received Sunday 1-3 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:30am. Reverend Larry Barkley will officiate. Interment will follow in New Cumberland Cemetery.

I loved Zita ( Bubbles) very much, we lost contact for years because life got in our way, I got married n she was married and had our own lives which I am do sorry about, we had a few lunches over the past few years then my husband got sick, then after he passed, she got sick I just wish I would have made more time for her, I love you cousin very much just hope your out of pain now Amen, Liz
